I did the first run this week by myself and today I took the dogs with. They were just so chipper this morning and seemed very ready to go do something. They did pretty good until the last interval when Lucy was really dragging. And due to some poor math on my part I think that last interval was a minute longer than it was supposed to be. It was a combination of me being tired, Lucy really dragging her paws, and what sounded like the sirens going off that caused me to forget if we were going until my watch said 15:00 or 16:00.
The workouts this week are a five minute warm-up walk and then two sets of 90 sec jog, 90 sec walk, 3 min jog, 3 min walk. So 9 minutes of running (or 10 I suppose today). This week is the first week that it actually felt like a workout. The first two weeks really came pretty easy and I wasn't very tired our out of breath at the end. After the last three minute jog, I was breathing pretty good this week.
One more time this weekend and we graduate to week 4!
