We Grew Something Edible!

Last night we enjoyed the first fruits, or rather vegetables, of our garden labors. I harvested some spinach last night (that probably should have been harvested a bit sooner) and we enjoyed that with our dinner last night. It tasted pretty good! Brad did comment that the homegrown stuff tastes a bit more "planty" than the stuff from the store. I went ahead and harvested all of the spinach that was ready and put it in the fridge as we eat up salad pretty fast and it was pretty ready to be picked. There is romaine lettuce that will be ready here before too long as well. And one of my pepper plants has a little baby pepper on it already. And the tomatillos...oh man...we are going to have a lot of tomatillos...
